Ha! Bruno is sick too! We are a fine pair, I tell ya. His thesis is due friday. My deadlines are choking me. If stress doesn't kill us, the bird flu might. I want to run away from home but I can't think of anywhere where I can hide from my work. Better just to face it head on and get it over with. So today I am writing my first article and sending it off and tomorrow I'll get started on the second one. I have a big deal article due in the beginning of January for a medical journal that I need to have done before we leave for California also. And a newsletter. And all of my christmas projects. Why am I wasting me time updating this blog? I don't know.... I guess I should go to work. What is it that Jack says in The Shining? All work and no play...

Just finished this and I really loved it. It didn't get the same great reviews as the rest of his books, but I think that's because people have a hard time accepting a writer's evolution. I say that it's one of his best! (*****)
